The Arvada Housing Authority is not accepting applications for the Housing Choice Voucher Program (Section 8) waiting list.
Can the Arvada Housing Authority Provide Emergency Housing or Rental Payment Assistance?
Unfortunately, the Arvada Housing Authority does not accommodate immediate housing needs. We do not operate rental properties, nor do we provide monies to persons who need help paying their rent. Below are other resources available by other agencies in the community to assist with temporary or emergency rental assistance.
Essential Home Repairs Program
Assist citizens who need repairs and improvements to their homes. Offering low interest loans, deferred loans, and grants. As well as technical assistance and contractor supervision are provided.
Homebuyer Assistance Program
The City of Arvada collaborated with the Colorado Housing Assistance Corporation (CHAC) to expand their assistance program to provide down payment and closing cost assistance to first time low/moderate income homebuyers in Arvada.
Administering a variety of community service efforts including Community Wheels, EOC energy assistance, Adams County Transit, etc.
Housing Opportunity Fund
Housing fund to provide financial support to existing and potential housing programs for low and moderate income households.
