In response to Colorado's rising COVID-19 incidence rates, on July 16, Governor Polis announced a mask mandate. On July 24, Jefferson County Public Health, citing an increase in Jefferson County COVID-19 incidence rates, announced a similar but stricter mandate cautioning residents that Jefferson County is at risk of losing the variances that had allowed the easing of restrictions earlier in the pandemic. The City of Arvada continues to urge residents, businesses and visitors to follow the mandates set out by the state and local public health agencies, including the wearing of masks or face coverings whenever you are out of the house and following physical distancing guidelines standing at least six feet from other people.
The City of Arvada continues the process of reopening City facilities to in-person services while prioritizing the health and safety of the Arvada community and members of the City team. The City continues to provide most services remotely, and residents are encouraged to access online or remote services whenever possible. Residents are encouraged to review City services updates at arvada.org/services-update or call the City of Arvada at 720-898-7000 during business hours to confirm that a service is open and available.
Please note: This information applies to City buildings, not to businesses in Arvada, which are encouraged to follow state and local health orders
