Public Safety Classes

Arvada Police offer a variety of crime prevention classes to help ensure the safety of our community. Gain the tools you need to reduce your chances of becoming a victim!

Classes

  • ThCrime Prevention Class gives homeowners important tips designed to keep them and their homes safe. Topics include reporting a crime, vacation safety tips, protecting your neighborhood and how to be a good witness among others.
  • The Crime Free Multi-Housing Class teaches participants ways to make rental properties and multi-tenant buildings safer. Topics include methods of landscaping and other design factors to help keep criminals and criminal activity away. 
  • The Sexual Harassment Assault and Rape Prevention (SHARP) course has been specifically designed to meet the needs of women, teaching principles and strategies for effectively reducing the likelihood of assault through actual techniques for countering an attack.
