The City of Arvada homeless and housing navigators provide housing resources and services to individuals who are currently unhoused or at-risk of homelessness. In 2022, the navigators were successful at moving over 53 individuals into permanent housing. Most individuals receiving our services live outside or in their cars prior to moving into their apartments and are lacking the basic necessities such as cleaning products, dishes, pots and pans, etc.
The City team is hosting a Community Donation Drive to assist these families in setting up their households with basic supplies. This donation drive will take place between April 3 and April 28 at the following locations:
Donation Times/Locations
Donations will be accepted Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Bins are available at the following community stations:
- City Hall/Police Headquarters (main entrance off 59th and Ammons Street)
- Lake Arbor Community Station (8110 Vance Drive)
- West Woods: (6644 Kendrick Drive)
- Whisper Creek: (14360 W. 89th Drive)
