Effective at 6:00pm on June 5, 2018, the City of Arvada implemented temporary Stage 1 Fire Restrictions for all lands within the City. Jefferson County Sheriff's Office has enacted the same temporary restrictions for all lands in Jefferson County. These restrictions are being enacted because of dry conditions, the possibility of a wildfire, and limited availability of fire control resources. Please note the use of all fireworks are prohibited within the restricted area. Conditions will continue to be monitored and restrictions will be adjusted in the coming weeks as necessary. For more information on prohibited activities during Stage 1 Fire Restrictions, please click here.
