Dog Park Events

Community support and participation are critical in the overall success of the dog park. Volunteer "Friends of the West Arvada Dog Park (WADP)" need your support. Bring your canine companion and help clean up the Dog Park (bags and supplies will be provided) on the following days in 2021 (all events will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

General Information

The West Arvada Dog Park opened on June 18, 2005. It is a "Special Use" park. It is operated by volunteers on City-owned property and is funded 100% through donations. Happy, healthy dogs make a happy healthy community. When dogs have the chance to exercise, socialize and play, they become better members of the community. Incidents of animal surrender, animal control citations, and other unwanted behavior diminishes. Please note: a dog license is required for dog park usage.
