Plant-a-Tree Program

Remember, Honor, and Commemorate by Planting a Tree

The City of Arvada program is designed to inspire our residents and promote the planting of trees in its parks and open spaces; as a rewarding and unique means of paying tribute, honoring, commemorating or celebrating special times.

About the Plant-a-Tree Program

The City Of Arvada’s “Plant a Tree” Program enables people to give an enduring and distinctive significance to special occasions and circumstances.  Welcome the birth of a child, recognize a personal milestone, commemorate an important or meaningful event or acknowledge the loss of a loved one.

Whether the reason is intimate or public, this visible and vibrant reminder will provide shade and beauty for future generations to enjoy.  The donor chooses the species from our list and the forestry department will then select the tree, purchase it and on the day and time decided upon by those involved, the tree will be planted in the local park of the donor’s choice.
