Majestic View Nature Center has hands-on displays, wildlife exhibits, a kids' activity area, classrooms and meeting spaces. Connected is the Majestic View Community Park, with over 80 acres to explore.

Overlook the lake, prairie grasses and wetland areas, walk through a demonstration garden, or walk our interpretive trails. Take pictures of the scenic mountain views or the many wildlife species in the park.  Whether you are exploring the park or joining us for a public program, you'll always have a fun and educational experience. 

Are looking to enjoy the park trails when the Nature Center is not open? The park trails and the East parking lot on 72nd and Carr are open from dawn to dusk. Dogs on leash are welcome. Visit for more park information. 

Free Public Hours

Monday-Thursday and Saturday 

  • 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 1 through September 30

  • 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. October 1 through May 31

Drop-in Guests and Groups: Call before your visit in spring and early fall as we may be hosting large school groups during the morning hours.

Wadsworth Blvd to 68th Avenue, west to Garrison Street, north to the Center parking lot.

Additional parking is available for Majestic View Park on 72nd Avenue, just west of Carr Street.  Enjoy the 1/3 mile nature walk to the Nature Center or access the playground, tennis courts, basketball courts, horseshoe pits, and picnic area nearby.

The Center includes restrooms and outdoor drinking fountain, please call for more facility information.

We're hiring! We are looking for an Environmental Education Specialist at the Nature Center. Visit the online application to learn more and apply. 

Everybody is falling into nature with leaves everywhere! Recycle your leaves with Arvada's FREE leaf recycling program! Check out the 2018 dates and details on how you can be nature friendly by composting your leaves.
