Sunday, June 13, 9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. Ages 12 to adult, $20 Suggested donation Calling all concerned butterfly & nature lovers – monarchs need our help! The eastern monarch butterfly population is down; they've declined 26% from just last year’s population size! Please consider joining the Monarch Larva Monitoring Project (www.mlmp.org) to understand the monarch’s breeding range and learn how to monitor milkweed for caterpillars so that together we can protect/reestablish crucial habitat. The training workshop is free, but a $20 donation is suggested for your own monitoring kit.
