  [All day event] Arvada Center Annual Fine Art Market
The Arvada Center's Annual Fine Art Market Show & Sale takes place in the Main Gallery and features handmade, one-of-a-kind items from over 90 local artists in a wide variety of media and styles. This is one of the best places to find a unique gift for everyone on your list, and yourself, for the holiday season! Admission to the sale is free, all purchases support the participating artists and the Arvada Center.

9:00am [9:00am] Community Hikes
Join Arvada community volunteer Mark McGoff for these hikes on Arvada trails. Hikes are about four miles, start at 9 a.m. and end about 11 a.m. Dress for the weather, bring some water, and enjoy the friendship of fellow hikers. Because of group size, these hikes are not suited for dogs.

[10:00am] Santa at the Apex
Santa will visit the Apex Center on Saturday, December 8, 10 am-noon. Join us for some cookies, hot chocolate, and a craft project. Remember to bring your camera to get your photo with Santa.

[10:30am] Geology Parfait
Saturday, December 8, 10:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. All ages, $7 Dig into geology with a tasty dessert to learn about the Earth's layers! Make your own parfait to see how the continents move, why earthquakes happen and more. Then enjoy your parfait during a folk story about how the mountains were formed.

Embrace the spirit of the season with a festive holiday open house at Standley Lake Public Library! Enjoy soothing seasonal melodies from celebrated harpist Erin Newton and mix and mingle with fellow attendees over holiday cookies and refreshments. Suitable for: Adults

[12:00pm] Saturdays with Santa in Olde Town Square
Santa will be on the Olde Town Square (57th and Olde Wadsworth) for picture opportunities plus holiday entertainment on each Saturday. Bring your own cameras! Pictures with Santa are FREE!
