Description:
Join Arvada community volunteer Mark McGoff for these hikes on Arvada trails.  Hikes are about four miles, start at 9 a.m. and end about 11 a.m.  Dress for the weather, bring some water, and enjoy the friendship of fellow hikers.  Because of group size, these hikes are not suited for dogs.

Description:
Meet hiring coordinators looking for summer and long-term employees. Find out details on available positions, apply on-site and interview. The district currently has openings for lifeguards, tennis instructors, youth dance instructors, youth gymnastics instructors, custodians, camp leaders and counselors, sports officials, coaches, scorekeepers and more.

Description:
Come learn about selecting and starting baby chicks, setting up a secure home, and keeping your growing chickens happy and healthy so they produce tasty eggs. Teachers Ken and Beckie of Pioneer Farmsteaders offer fact based information and coaching. Sign up in advance. All Ages, $12/person.

[4:00pm] Art for the Young at Heart
Description:
Community artists age 50+ and North Jefferson County area schoolchildren collaborate on this wonderful annual art show! The opening reception is Wednesday, February 7 from 4 to 6 pm, with awards at 5 pm. Viewing hours are 8:15 am to 7 pm Monday through Thursday and 8:15 am to 4 pm Friday.
