Splash Pad Information

Hours: 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend.
- Splash pad maintenance operations:
- The pad may be non-functional for approximately 10 minutes, three times per day during maintenance operations. In the event the features are not running but not related to maintenance operations, please call Parks Maintenance at 720-898-7410.
- NO dogs allowed on the splash pad. They are welcome in the park on a leash.
- Restroom hours: 7 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. - May 1 through Labor Day.
- Portalets are available from the day after Labor Day through April 30 due to the restrooms being winterized.
Pavilion and Tables Information
Please Note: Ralston Central Park is NOT intended for large private gatherings. If your gathering is large and intended to last all day, please consider renting one of our reservable parks and pavilions.
- Tables may NOT be blocked off for a gathering scheduled for later in the day.
- NO holding the table for others. Those desiring to use the tables must be seated at the table.
- Please be considerate of others and limit your time at the tables to two hours, so others can enjoy the use of the tables.
Additional Information:
- Bouncy castles and other inflatable gyms and obstacle courses are PROHIBITED.
- Please remove all decorations and event debris prior to leaving the park.

General Park Information
Ralston Central Park, a 20 acre Park and Bridge/Trail project features walking paths, two playgrounds, a large spray park/splashpad, indoor restrooms, a sand volleyball pit, a large covered picnic pavilion with seating for 100, seating throughout the park and the Hernor Family Memorial Garden. With three pedestrian bridges and an 89-vehicle parking lot, the park has easy access.
Interesting Project Facts
- The park’s outdoor buildings were custom-designed to accommodate the contour of the site’s floodplain.
- The Hernor Family Memorial Garden, the restroom and maintenance building, and the covered picnic pavilion feature design details unique to Arvada.
- More than 200,000 cubic yards of soil were removed, and the City relocated about 20,000 cubic yards to nearby Wolff Park, saving $150,000 on the project.
- The memorial trees located within the project’s boundaries were relocated either within the new park itself, or to Wolff Park, the skate park at the Apex Center or the Lutz/Stenger Sports Complex.
- The park’s sustainability features include LED lighting, landscaping that utilizes native prairie grass and plants that require no irrigation.
