The City of Arvada partners with Resource Central to provide our water customers with opportunities to save money, conserve water and beautify their landscapes through four programs:
Garden in a Box
Each spring City of Arvada water customers can save $25 on Garden In A Box kits, while supplies last. Each kit comes with beautiful plants that require little water and thrive in our Colorado soil and arid climate. These water saving gardens retail at prices ranging between $124-$345. Gardens will be available to order in March, but you can sign up for notifications at https://resourcecentral.org/gardens/shop.
Waterwise Yard Seminars
Watch pre-recorded webinars or sign up for the interest list! Learn how to water less in these free Waterwise Yard Seminars taught by Colorado low-water landscape pros. They’ll share tips to keep your yard looking great while using less water. Workshops are virtual and open to everyone.
Lawn Replacement
Resource Central makes low-water lawn replacement easy and affordable to cut, remove and compost a section of lawn. It’s quick, easy, and painless! Many customers are eligible for discounts. Learn more, join the interest list or sign up for the program.
Smart Controller Upgrade
Sign up for a Smart Controller Upgrade to help manage your outdoor watering schedule at the touch of a button. Customers can get a Rachio smart controller, and installations are offered at no cost, while supplies last, to qualifying Arvada residents!.
