The Human Services Advisory Committee advises the City Council on the allocation of funding from the Human Services funding pool, as well as the funding for public services from the Community Development Block Grant. The committee generally meets once per year in late Fall to review grant applications. Members are also encouraged to conduct site visits throughout the year at organizations which have received funding in the past. This is a volunteer appointment. Terms are for three years.
