Arvada Arts and Culture Commission

The Arvada Arts and Culture Commission (AACC) supports, cultivates, and advocates for a variety of arts, culture, and heritage opportunities throughout our community. Other goals include: Outreach and support of local artists; liaison and partner with the Arvada Historical Society, the Arvada Festivals Commission, the Parks Advisory Committee, and other organizations; and the creation of a Cultural District. The Commission presented their Cultural Master Plan to City Council, which was adopted on June 4, 2018.

General Information

The AACC generally meets the third Thursday of every month at 6-8 p.m. in the Anne Campbell room at City Hall. 

The Commission consists of 9 voting members appointed by City Council. 

This is a volunteer appointment. Term of office varies. Only one member of the Commission may live outside of the city limits of Arvada.  NOTE: A background check will be required before serving on this Board.
