Arvada offers many opportunities for residents and visitors in the area of art, culture, humanities, and community events.
Looking for great theater, music, or art? Arvada boasts the nationally-renowned Arvada Center for the Arts and Humanities, which offers year-round concerts and performances in theater and dance; art exhibitions; a history museum; and classes in ceramics, dance, writing, acting, and the visual and musical arts.
Arvada is also home to many wonderful community festivals and events that celebrate culture, food, and fun. From the annual St. Patty's Day Celebration to the Kite Festival to Trails Day to Arvada on Tap, there are always fun and exciting things to do in our community! The Arvada Festivals Commission, appointed by the Arvada City Council, supports many of the festivals.
In 2016, the Arvada City Council created a new commission called the Arvada Culture and Art Commission. The goal of this Commission will be to create a strategic plan for public art in the community as well as to foster closer relationships with all artists living and working in Arvada.
