The City of Arvada works to provide citizens with convenient access to information about city operations.
There are three different types of records that are available from the City of Arvada: General Public Records; Building and Permit Records; and Criminal Justice Records.
General Public Records
The City Clerk is the official custodian of city records and provides access to public records under the guidelines of the Colorado Open Records Act. The City of Arvada has made many documents available for the public to search and view through the CityDocs.org website.
The repository of records on CityDocs.org is constantly increasing with additional current and historic documents. If you are not able to locate the record that you require using CityDocs, please print the Record Request form or submit a records request using the link below. This is not for Police or Court Records, for those go to the bottom of this page.
Building and Permit Records
The City of Arvada uses eTRAKiT to provide citizens and contractors the ability to search for information on permits, developments and building records.
Criminal Justice Records
