Speak Up Arvada is the City's online, 24/7 digital engagement platform. The City team uses Speak Up Arvada to gather feedback on specific topics through mapping, storytelling, surveys and other tools. Ask Arvada is the City's online, 24/7 digital service request platform. Residents can ask City staff questions from the comfort of their home during hours that are convenient for them. City staff will respond to requests within three days, and residents can track the status of their requests.

Engage with Your Neighbors
Neighbors knowing neighbors is at the core of every strong community. The City encourages and supports those efforts through its Neighbors Connected, Neighborhood Strong program designed to connect Arvada residents with resources that will help them develop sustainable neighborhood groups You can learn more about the benefits available by visiting Neighbors Connected.
Engaging with your local police department is a great way strengthen your community. The Arvada Police Department (APD) continually strives to build and maintain partnerships with its residents, helping identify and prevent crime and keeping our streets safe. APD offers many free crime prevention classes and workshops to residents, and also supports the City's Neighbors Connected program by actively participating in the program. The engagement guide offers ideas for civic engagement that we sometimes take for granted or underestimate the importance of, such as voting, serving as a juror, participating in the Census, etc. Your voice matter. Exercise it!
Communication and Engagement Strategy
The City of Arvada is developing a Communication and Engagement Strategy to improve how we communicate and engage with the community and City Council to support transparency, informed decision-making, understanding, and involvement with City issues and activities.
