These permits are required for contractors doing landscape, tree trimming, fencing, guard rail, etc. that need traffic control set up in the City of Arvada street but are not physically disturbing the right of way.
Do I need a license to perform this work
Yes, you must have a current Municipal General Contractor license to be able to obtain a permit for this work. See our licensing page for more information.
How do I apply for these permits
Applications are submitted electronically using the customer service portal https://arvadapermits.org/etrakit3/ Electronic applications are only available to licensed contractors. Remember you must include the necessary documentation (including traffic control plan). Applications without complete information will not be processed.
How do I pay for these permits
Once your permit has been approved you will be notified by email that your permit can be paid for by logging into your AEC account at www.arvadapermits.org/etraki3/.

Inspections
Inspections are completed on a daily basis Monday through Friday between 8am and 3pm, and must be scheduled online by 6 a.m. of the desired day of inspection. To schedule inspections please visit www.arvadapermits.org/etrakit3/ and login with your Arvada Contractor license (AEC #) and password.
*Special Inspection Requests:
Work that will be inspected during non-city business hours needs to be requested and approved. Please send your inspection requests to engineeringpermits@arvada.org at least 1 business day prior to your desired work date.
