The Arvada Park Advisory Committee (APAC) prioritizes and makes recommendations to the City Council on projects for parks, open space and trails; works with the city's Parks, Golf and Hospitality Department to prioritize park and open space issues; actively participates in park dedications and occasional field trips to parks, trails and open space areas; and works cooperatively with Apex Park and Recreation district board and staff.
APAC meets generally on the second Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at Majestic View Nature Center. This is a volunteer appointment. Terms are for three years. You must be a resident of the City of Arvada to apply. NOTE: A background check will be required before serving on this Committee.
