During the course of a snowstorm, operators and equipment are working around the clock removing snow and ice to provide safe and passable roadways throughout the City. The City's snow plow routes do not include residential streets except on an as needed basis or when the snow depth on the street is expected to reach 12 inches and/or a snow emergency has been declared by the City Manager. Visit Snow and Ice Control to learn about street priorities.
Although major roadways are the first priority in snow and ice control operations, we will place sand on icy non-priority or residential streets as needed. If you have questions or concerns, please submit a service request or call the snow dispatch number at 720-898-7725.
