Background Check

A Clearance Letter can be obtained either in person or by mail. The fee for a clearance letter is $10.00 (non-refundable) The requestor must provide full name and date of birth. The Clearance Letter covers only arrests and/or non-traffic citations with the Arvada Police Department. It takes 3 to 5 business days to process the request once received. To request a Clearance Letter in person, you can visit the department's Records Unit, Monday-Saturday from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. or you can mail the request/monies to: Arvada Police Department Attn: Records 8101 Ralston Road, Arvada, CO 80002. If you have additional questions, contact the Records Unit at 720-898-6920.
