Neighborhood Improvement Grants are intended for more substantial projects and may include physical improvements, programs or activities. Small improvement grants may be up to $1000, while large improvement grants may be up to $10,000. In either case, the project must involve neighbors working together and a match by neighbors of at least 25% of the project cost. The match may be met through cash contribution, by using the value of donated materials or volunteer labor, or some combination thereof. Check online for grant availability.
