Elections Ask Arvada

Arvada Elections

Regular elections are held in Arvada on the first Tuesday in November of each odd-numbered year. City Council candidates run for election in November of odd-numbered years, and there may be other ballot issues or questions on the ballot as well. If a ballot issue or question needs to be on the ballot in an even-numbered year, a special election is held, usually on the first Tuesday in November. The City Charter and the Municipal Code both set out provisions for city elections. Both the City Charter and the Municipal Code are available on the Municipal Code website or by calling the City Clerk's Office at 720-898-7545 or by submitting a service request.
