The City of Arvada is a Home Rule City that collects its own Sales and Use Tax.
The City Sales Tax rate is 3.46%. This rate is separate from State, County and Special District Sales Taxes which are collected by the State.
If you are making retail sales in Arvada you must collect and remit the Arvada sales tax. To obtain an application for an Arvada Business License please visit http://arvada.org/business or you may call 720-898-7100, option 1. If you wish to apply for a license in person, the Revenue office is located at 8001 Ralston Road in the City Hall Annex.
Arvada Sales Tax is due on the 20th of the month following the period in which the tax is collected. The City does offer a 3% vendor's fee with a maximum amount of $100.

Payments can be made using e-check or any credit card. E-checks are free while credit cards are assessed a 3% fee per transaction which is charged and collected by the processing company.
