Dead Animal On Roadway or in Yard

If you see a dead animal along a roadway or in your yard, please call Animal Management at 720-898-6850 or non-emergency police dispatch at 720-898-6900. You must provide the exact location of the animal. An Animal Management Officer will be dispatched to pick up the carcass.

We advise that you do NOT handle an animal carcass, but if you must, never do so without protective gear such as gloves or an inverted trash bag.
