Mission
The Mission of the Utilities Department is to provide city fleet services, safe drinking water, wastewater treatment, public stormwater maintenance, and safe building construction services to the members of the Arvada community so they can confidently assume a reliable supply of safe, high quality drinking water, have buildings constructed to the highest quality standards, and the safe disposal of sewage.
What Does the Utilities Department Do?
The Utilities Department is responsible for supplying drinking water to all residents, controlling stormwater flows, removing and disposing of sanitary sewage, issuing building permits, performing permit inspections, and maintaining the City’s fleet of vehicles. It provides services including:
