Residents in Arvada whose Council districts changed this past March recently received postcards containing incorrect Council district information. Corrected postcards have been sent to affected residents. Please rest assured that Jefferson County has the correct Council district information, and ballots will be mailed accordingly. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the City Clerk Kristen Rush at 720-898-7546. Our apologies for the inconvenience.

On March 18, 2019 the City Council approved an ordinance redrawing council district boundaries to accommodate recent population changes. This change in district lines will apply to the City of Arvada Regular Election, scheduled for Nov. 5, 2019. As a result of this change, which affects all four districts, some residents now reside in a different district than they did prior to the adoption of the ordinance.

The City will hold an election in November for Mayor, one At-Large Councilmember, and District 2 and District 4 Councilmembers. The Mayor and At-Large seat will be on all ballots for Arvada registered voters. The District 2 and District 4 seats will be only on ballots sent to those respective districts. If you have any questions, please contact the City Clerk Office at 720-898-7546.
