City Council Agenda Packets and Minutes

As the closure of City facilities is set to expire on May 31, the City team is following a phased approach to the reopening of facilities to allow all team members to be trained in safety requirements and to ensure all necessary materials and equipment to adjust facilities to accommodate physical distancing can be acquired and applied. Currently, Municipal Courts and PD Community Stations have reopened. The next phase of reopening, which will begin between June 1 - 15, is the re-establishing of in-person engagement with public meetings, including the ability to provide in-person comments and testimony during City Council meetings and the ability to attend select neighborhood and community open houses. During the phased reopening, the City will continue to provide most services remotely. City services updates are provided at arvada.org/city-services-update-covid-19.

Before visiting a City facility, be sure to call ahead (720-898-7000 during business hours) to verify a facility or service is available.

Please note: This information applies to City buildings, not to businesses in Arvada, which are encouraged to follow state and local health orders

In accordance with physical distancing guidelines, Arvada City Council meetings will be held remotely using webinar technology. Members of the public may watch the meeting on Comcast channels 8 and 880 or on the livestream at arvada.org/live-stream. A recording of the meeting will also be available the next day. For instructions on how to provide public comment at a Council business meeting during COVID, visit arvada.org/public-comment.

The City Council holds four regular meetings each month. The first and third Mondays of each month are regular business meetings and the second and fourth Mondays are regular workshops. The Current City Council Meeting Packet that contains agenda information, as well as details about agenda items, is posted here on the Friday before each Monday meeting.
