As a thank you to Arvada residents for supporting their business during the past two decades, Mile High Tree Care will be accepting logs, branches, brush and other tree-related material at their recycling lot on Saturday, June 8. The recycling lot is located at 1051 E. 54th Ave., Denver (near 58th and Washington) and will be accepting materials from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.. Please note:
- You must show proof that you are an Arvada resident (drivers license, Colorado ID, utility bill, etc.).
- You may only drop off branches, logs, brush and limbs.
- You MAY NOT drop tree stumps, yard waste, sod, fencing, landscape logs, trash of any kind, etc. (loads containing these items will be turned away).
Additionally, Jefferson County offers tree limb (slash) disposal from June through October in various locations throughout Jefferson County for a $20 fee. Two "slash" events will be held at Blue Mountain Open Space in Arvada in 2019. The first will be held on June 22 and 23, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The second will be held on September 21 and 22, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
