Jan. 5 COVID-19 Update

The response to the pandemic continues to evolve at a rapid pace. On Jan. 4, 2021, both Jefferson County and Adams County moved on the State’s Dial Framework from Level Red to Level Orange.

Do you live or work in Adams County? It is important to know the following:

  • Adams County community members and businesses should follow Level Orange of CDPHE’s Dial Framework.

  • Tri-County Health Department rescinded a Public Health Order issued for Adams County, which limited gatherings, restricted alcohol sales and imposed a curfew.

Do you live or work in Jefferson County? Here is the latest information:

  • Jefferson County community members and businesses should follow Level Orange of CDPHE’s Dial Framework.

  • Jefferson County Public Health renewed a public health order which is more restrictive than the state’s Dial and limits gatherings further in Jefferson County. 

    • Indoor events are limited to 25% capacity or 25 people, calculated using the social distancing calculator, whichever is smaller.

    • Outdoor events are limited to 25% capacity or 75 people, calculated using the social distancing calculator, whichever is smaller. 

    • Spectators at youth sporting events are prohibited.
