(Arvada) – On December 6, at approximately 8: 45 p.m., Arvada Police were dispatched to the 7100 block of 66th Avenue on a report of a possible stabbing. The male victim contacted the reporting party outside his home for help.
The victim was transported by Arvada Fire to Good Samaritan for cuts to his hand and arm along with blunt force trauma to his face.
The female suspect Tricia Sparks (DOB 7/17/65) remained in the house. She later exited the home to surrender, was taken into custody and transported to the Jefferson County Jail.
Sparks was arrested on the charge of 1st degree assault. The investigation is on-going and additional charges could be filed.
