Crime Stoppers Needs Public's Help in Identifying Purse Snatcher

(ARVADA) – Denver metro area agencies are asking for the public’s help in locating and identifying a white male suspect driving an older model, faded silver Honda Civic or Accord who is wanted for questioning regarding a series of purse snatch-type robberies.

He is suspected in similar crimes in Denver, Glendale, Englewood and Arvada. The suspect reportedly drives the mentioned car directly behind women carrying their purses, reaches out the window and takes the purses from the victim’s shoulder.

The male is thought to be in his late 20’s to early 40’s, with dark blondish or reddish hair. He may have a skinny build.

If seen do not attempt to make contact; dial 911.

Anyone with any information about this suspect or the suspect’s vehicle is asked to call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720.913.STOP. Callers may remain anonymous and receive up to $2000.
