Council Dais in City of Arvada Council Chambers Approved as Fully Vaccinated Facility

As of December 22, 2021 the council dais in the City of Arvada Council Chambers at 8101 Ralston Rd, Arvada, Colorado 80002 was approved by Jefferson County Public Health as a Jefferson County Fully Vaccinated Facility. This approval applies specifically to the council dais, which is 12+ feet away from the general public. The approval does not extend to the rest of City Hall or other City facilities.

City Council members seated on the council dais will have provided proof of vaccination status and will be permitted to participate in council meetings without a mask or face covering. At least 95 percent of all those seated at the council dais must be fully vaccinated.

City staff, presenters and spectators who are in attendance in Council Chambers will not be required to show proof of vaccination, but will be required to wear a face covering in accordance with PHO 21-006.

City of Arvada City Council meetings are typically held on Mondays at 6 p.m. Residents are invited to attend in person if they are not currently experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 and are willing to wear a face covering. Public comment, when available, may be made in person or remotely. Council meetings are broadcast live on Comcast/TDS channels 8 / HD880 and are available on the City of Arvada YouTube channel the following day.
