(Arvada, CO) –This weekend is a chance to experience culture, entertainment and art, at WinterFest 2019. This outdoor, family-friendly event will be held on Feb. 23, at McIlvoy Park in Olde Town Arvada.
WinterFest will present opportunities to learn, sample and experience many diverse cultures. There will be spaces for performances and demonstrations, as well as craft vendors and informational booths throughout the festival. In addition, WinterFest will offer winter-themed attractions and ongoing entertainment to engage guests of all-ages.
Saturday, Feb. 23

12 to 12:45 p.m.- Colorado Asian Cultural Heritage: Dragon, Lion, Chinese Drums
1 to 2 p.m. - The Storytellers
2:30 to 3:30 p.m. - Boulder Taiko Drums and audience participation
WinterFest launched successfully in 2018 to fulfill a vision of an outdoor festival to celebrate the variety of cultures in the Arvada community, including a variety of entertainment and attractions that the community has come to expect from the Arvada Festivals Commission.
