Spring Awards Ceremony to recognize heroes of the community


Arvada, CO – As part of the Law Enforcement Week festivities, the Arvada Police Department will recognize officers and citizens making a difference in our community at the Annual Awards Ceremony on Thursday,  May 14, 2015.


The Awards celebration will take place at 7 p.m. at the Arvada Center in the Black Box Theater.


The Arvada Police will also recognize 2nd graders from Arvada elementary schools who participated in the 7th Annual Police Officer Appreciation coloring content.


The public is invited and encouraged to attend. The event is free, and coffee and desserts will be served immediately following the ceremony.
