Highway 36 Corridor Environmental Impact Statement

The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) and the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), in cooperation with the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) and the Regional Transportation District (RTD) are conducting an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) to identify transportation improvements between Denver and Boulder. Transportation improvements are being considered along the approximately 25 mile long corridor of US 36 between Boulder and Denver and also along the Burlington Northern Santa Fe railroad corridor.
