Effective April 6, 2017, Jefferson County Sheriff lifted the Stage 1 Fire Restrictions that went into effect on March 30th, 2017. Citizens are encouraged to continue using caution while engaged in any occupational or recreational use of fire.

From government to individual citizens and service providers, being prepared for emergencies is everyone's job. We've put together a few resources to help you be prepared.

Flood Information

Even though the likelihood of serious floods is low, it is best to be prepared for them. Preparedness includes considering flood insurance, knowing how to stay safe during a flood, and knowing whether your property is in a floodplain.
