What to Do With a Dead Wild Animal

Never handle a dead animal without protective gear, like gloves or an inverted trash bag.

Dead Animals on Road

Dead animals on the roadway can be a hazard.  If you see a dead animal please note its location and call non-emergency police dispatch at 720-898-6900 or 303.980.7300.  A police dispatcher will advise the Animal Management Officer to pick up the carcass.
