Block Party Trailer

The City of Arvada Block Party trailer is available through the Neighborhood Services Division for loan to City of Arvada residents free of charge . The Block Party trailer is stocked with everything you need to throw a great block party without all the hassle. Included in the trailer are 7 six foot folding tables, 4 folding picnic tables, 32 folding chairs, 4 ice chests, 3 water coolers and a variety of games.  All you need to add is people, plus food and music for more fun! Click here for more details.

Neighborhood Movie Program

The Neighborhood Movie program was developed to help get neighbors to join together through events. Your neighborhood is sure to enjoy a FREE movie night on the back or front lawn, or anywhere you can gather a group of people. There is something special about watching a movie outdoors in the neighborhood and under the stars. Think of it as your own back yard Drive-In. It is a twist on a nostaligic idea. Included with the program are an inflatable 12 foot movie screen, projector, DVD player, sound sytem and accessories.  Click here for more details.

Know Your Neighbor Grants

These small grants are for improving neighborhood relations by facilitating people getting to know one another. Neighbors may apply for $100 reimbursement grants for block parties, event kick-offs, neighborhood clean-ups, holiday celebrations or other functions that build connections between neighbors. The Know Your Neighbor Grants may be applied for at any time in 2015 and will be awarded on a first come, first served basis until the allocated funding is depleted. 2015 applications available here.
