Mark McGoff was elected to the Arvada City Council in November 2007. As the representative of District 2, he is particularly interested in the preservation of our historic neighborhoods, the continued vitality of Olde Town, and the planning for the Gold Line. He is currently the council representative to Historic Olde Town Arvada (HOTA), RTD Gold Line Local Governments Team, Arvada Sister Cities, Adams County Economic Development Association, and Metro Denver Health and Wellness Committee. Additionally, he serves as a board member of Ralston House (formerly Arvada Child Advocacy Center) and the Governor’s Council for Physical Fitness. Prior to serving on the Arvada City Council, Mark served in several appointed and elected positions at the city, county, and state levels in Colorado.
Mark has undergraduate degrees in English and Philosophy and a graduate degree in Adult Education. He and Linda have been married for forty years and are the parents of one son.
