The Building Inspection Division is responsible for assuring that buildings built in the city are safe for the occupants of those buildings. To accomplish this goal, the Building Inspection Division administers the following codes:

2006 International Building Code, 2006 International Residential Code, 2006 International Plumbing Code, 2006 International Fuel Gas Code, 2006 International Mechanical Code, 2006 International Fire Code, 2006 International Energy Conservation Code, 2006 International Property Maintenance Code and the 2005 National Electrical Code.

Our permit office is open from 8-5 Monday-Friday except for holidays.
