Emergencies happen anytime, anywhere, without warning. So, it seems an oxymoron to talk about "emergency preparedness". But there are things we can all do to make emergency situations a little easier to deal with.

The City's Emergency Preparedness site offers some basic information about preparing your home, work site, and your family for disaster situations. It also provides a run-down of some of the programs and initiatives the City runs or participates in that aim to provide for the well-being of its citizens.
