Projects Along the W 58th Ave Corridor Between Kipling Street and Ward Road

A Neighborhood Meeting will be held  from 5:30 – 7 p.m. on Friday, January 26 at Vanderhoof Elementary School, 5875 Routt Ct.  Traffic engineering staff will explain and collect feedback on the following projects:

The City of Arvada's Traffic Engineering Division is considering several proposed projects for the W. 58th Ave. corridor between Kipling Pkwy. and Ward Road. Those projects include:

● Adding turn lanes and reconstructing the signal at Ward Road and W. 58th Ave. intersection for traffic safety and reduction of congestion. This project is grant funded.

● Revising the unsignalized full movement intersection at W. 58th Ave. and Van Gordon St. to a restricted (3/4 movement) intersection for traffic safety and operational improvements.

● Revising the unsignalized full movement intersection at W. 58th Ave. and Tabor St. to a restricted (3/4 movement) intersection for traffic safety and operational improvements.

● Adding a northbound right-turn lane to the south leg of W. 58th Ave. and Oak St. intersection to improve intersection operations.

● Adding turn lanes and updating the signal at Kipling Pkwy. and W. 58th Ave. intersection for traffic safety and reduction of congestion. This project is grant funded.

● Collecting data and upgrading the signal timing for four signalized intersections to improve signal corridor progression.
