Volunteers needed for the Scarecrow Festival! Interested?
Fall would not be complete without the Festival of Scarecrows. It’s free! It’s fun! With plenty of activities, there is something for everyone.
Buy pumpkins! Stroll through Olde Town! Vote for your favorite scarecrow or enter in a variety of contests and fun competitions, or bring your biggest home-grown pumpkin for weighing to claim the biggest pumpkin prize!
Pumpkin Decorating Class: 5:30-6:30, Tuesday, Oct. 6 - to register call Majestic View Nature Center at 720-898-7405. (Bring your decorated pumpkins to the contest on Saturday 10/10/15).
Activities: Scarecrow contest, great pumpkin contest, kids costume parade, local community and food vendors, informal contests, music, karaoke for all ages, hayrides, baked pumpkin contest (baked goods except pumpkin pies will be accepted).
Parking: Limited parking in Olde Town but ample parking in the Vineyard and Vance lots, down the hill. Free shuttle available.

- Decorated Pumpkin Judging: 1:00 p.m.
- Baked Pumpkin Dish Judging : 2:00 p.m.
- Giant Pumpkin Weighing: 2:30 p.m.
