Purchasing

PURPOSE:

  • Perform the procurement of the more complex and costly acquisitions
  • Support departmental purchasing efforts for routine needs
  • Administer procurement policies and procedures
  • Manage the maintenance, support, training and development of the purchasing module portion of the financial management system
  • Operate a central warehouse for routine supplies
  • Coordinate the storage of surplus property for subsequent disposal through an auction contract.
