Arvada Seeking to Fill Retirement Board Vacancy

Looking to get involved with your City government and serve your fellow citizens?  The Arvada City Council is currently recruiting applicants to fill a vacancy on the City of Arvada Retirement Plan Board (CARP).  The CARP Board is responsible for overseeing the administration of the City’s retirement plan.  The Board meets generally on a quarterly basis, the first Thursday of the second month of each quarter at 5:30 p.m.  This is a volunteer appointment.  You must be a registered voter in the City of Arvada to be eligible for this board.


Applications, along with the accompanying questionnaire, are due in the City Clerk’s Office by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, March 29, 2013.


Questionnaires can be obtained on the City’s web site at or through the City Clerk’s Office located on the third floor of City Hall, 8101 Ralston Road, Arvada.  Applicants may also attach a short resume, although it is not required.  Interested citizens may contact 720-898-7550 with any additional questions.
