In semi-arid Colorado, water is a precious resource. The historic drought of 2002 was a wake-up call for everyone, reminding us all that we must conserve our water. In 2013, we found ourselves in a very similar situation.

Water conservation doesn't mean going without.  It means doing more with less.  There are many ways we can all do our part to conserve water in our homes, schools, and businesses.

Arvada is partnered with the United States Environmental Protection Agency's WaterSense Program.  WaterSense is a great way to identify water conserving appliances and practices and provide educational materials to our customers.
