The Arvada Park Advisory Committee (APAC) prioritizes and makes recommendations to the City Council on projects for parks, open space and trails; works with the city's Parks, Golf and Hospitality Department to prioritize park and open space issues; actively participates in park dedications and occasional field trips to parks, trails and open space areas; and works cooperatively with Apex Park and Recreation district board and staff.

APAC meets generally on the second Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at Majestic View Nature Center. This is a volunteer appointment. Terms are for three years. You must be a resident of the City of Arvada to apply. NOTE: A background check will be required before serving on this Committee.

There will be vacancies on the Park Advisory Committee for 2018. The application process will begin in early December, 2017. Please check back to this page on December 1 for information on how to apply.

For more information, please contact Arvada Parks, Golf and Hospitality at 720-898-7400.
