The Arvada Park Advisory Committee (APAC) prioritizes and makes recommendations to the City Council on projects for parks, open space and trails; works with the city's Parks, Golf and Hospitality Department to prioritize park and open space issues; actively participates in park dedications and occasional field trips to parks, trails and open space areas; and works cooperatively with Apex Park and Recreation district board and staff.

APAC meets generally on the second Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at Majestic View Nature Center. This is a volunteer appointment. Terms are for three years. You must be a resident of the City of Arvada to apply. NOTE: A background check will be required before serving on this Committee.

In 2016 there will be three vacancies on this committee. We are no longer accepting applications for these vacancies. Candidates that have applied for consideration will be contacted with more information if selected for interviews. Please check back in December 2016 for future vacancies on this board.
