The Human Services Advisory Committee advises the City Council on the allocation of funding from the Human Services funding pool, as well as the funding for public services from the Community Development Block Grant. They meet generally two times per year in the evening. This is a volunteer appointment. Terms are for three years. You must be a resident of the City of Arvada to apply.

The Human Services Advisory Committee has one vacancy to fill for 2017. The application period for 2017 vacancies on Arvada's boards and commissions has closed. Thank you to all of our citizens that expressed interest in serving our community by submitting applications. Over the next several weeks, Council will review applications. Please understand that this is a very long process and your patience is greatly appreciated.
